  • 03/12/09 - GPSDash v1.41m released!
    This minor update of GPSDash contains better integration of the manual into the PocketPC help system and enables you to navigate/scroll in the mapview by using the hardware buttons.

  • 03/11/22 - TomTom Trouble
    Some of the users reported problems about GPSDash not working with TomTom Navigator, especially their bluetooth solution (ERROR: Failed to open COM Port). With the help of you, I finally found a solution for the TomTom problem. For details, please visit the "Troubleshoot" section in the online version of the manual.
  • 06/11/04 - GPSDash v1.4m released!
    As already announced, I just released v1.4m of GPSDash. Beside the manual, this release also contains a fix for the "Hot Connect" feature.
  • 03/11/04 - GPSDash Manual released!
    I eventually managed to write a short manual which should serve quite well in explaining the different features and functions of GPSDash. Go to this first version of the manual by using the link in the site-menu or use the address <http://manual.gpsdash.com>. A refined version of this manual will also be embedded in the next release of the installer.

  • 09/04/03 - A new release of GPSDash ( v1.14 ) is available and features some new navigation tools which should proof very helpful. The biggest update is the introduction of Waypoints and some tools that allow easy bearing of your destinations. GPSDash should now be a very nice tool for all the "Geocachers" out there.   • 06/04/03 - GPSDash lost it's beta status and I am very pleased to present you the first stable release: GPSDash v1.0
    This new release comprises a load of new features and also deals with all known bugs of the last beta (0.6). Due to the great development effort, the new license model for GPSDash v1.0 is SHAREWARE. To get rid of of the limitations of the shareware version and to support the further development of the software, it is necessary to register GPSDash.
  • 01/04/03 - Thanks to the numerous success reports I received from the users of GPSDash, I can now offer a list of "known-to-be-good" configurations. The list contains the hardware setup and the GPSDash COM-port settings. It will be updated on a regular basis.
  • 28/03/03 - Since I get consistently asked about configuration settings for specific PocketPC / GPS-Receiver combinations, I plead you to help me in providing support to this guys. If you have successfully tested GPSDash with your equipement, please report your settings. Thank you ;)
  • 24/03/03 - After some struggling with the code, I can finally offer GPSDash for SH3 and MIPS based PocketPCs. I could only test the MIPS release on a monochrome Compaq AERO 1550, but it seems to work quite nicely.
  • 23/03/03 - The next release of GPSDash will feature multiple skins. Since I am more talented in programming than in designing artwork, I invite you to create great looking skins for the project. You can download a mask pattern from the files section (Photoshop required). For an example of a simple but effective skin look here.
  • 22/03/03 - Since GPSDash is a tool for PocketPCs, I am glad to tell you that also this website is now coded in PocketPC friendly format.
